It’s never too late to focus on your brain health! In this interactive session you will learn about the six pillars of brain health, activities that support brain health, and hopefully be inspired by others. This session provides an overview for anyone interested in learning more about brain health and will provide of the latest research, lifestyle suggestions, and resources to learn more.Six Pillars of Brain Health
The presenter: Lisa Ballard is an AARP Volunteer here in the Twin Cities. She is a retired RN, certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Mindfulness Meditation teacher. Staying active and volunteering have been shown to be beneficial at any age and AARP Volunteer Speakers Team provides me the opportunity to not only give back to the community but to continue to provide information on lifestyle and health. When I am not volunteering for AARP you will find me spending time with family, fostering furry friends, and enjoying being outdoors hiking and gardening.
A lunch will be provided.
