God’s Work Through Us

Impacting Lives
The Central Lutheran Church Foundation is entrusted with stewardship of funds for use by Central Lutheran Church. There are several designated funds that donors have created to support specific ministries that are especially important to them, including areas you see here.
General Funds
Funds from CLCF make up approximately one third of Central Lutheran Church’s annual budget. These funds help secure, staff, and maintain the magnificent church structure and grounds.

Global Missions
Central Lutheran Church uses CLCF funds to support missionaries abroad and to bring Central Lutheran Church members to witness and participate in global missions first hand.
Music Ministry
The annual support received from CLCF allows Central’s music department to continue its strong ministry in the life of the congregation specifically in the context of worship.

Restoration Center
The Central Lutheran Church Foundation’s designated funds for community ministries directly touch the lives of people experiencing homelessness and others in our community.
The funds may be used for meals, rental assistance, clothing, nursing assistance, or other needs.
Senior Ministry
Older Wiser Lutherans (OWLs) regularly gather for luncheon events or presentations at church, as well as day trips. Church leaders use CLCF senior ministry funds to keep the cost of these events and activities affordable for anyone who wishes to attend.
Groups ranging from 20 to 70 have visited places such as Chanhassen Dinner Theater, The Museum of Russian Art, and Glensheen Mansion.

Youth and Family
Youth and Family Ministries may use CLCF designated funds to underwrite summer trips to Camp Amnicon. Central Lutheran youth and their guests can attend a wilderness adventure camp at Camp Amnicon at little or no personal expense.
This is a terrific opportunity for outreach, as youth who attend camp at the invitation of their Central Lutheran friends are often new to Christianity and church life.
